Jessica and I recently decided to implement a fun plan for our Monday night meals. We now do ‘Meat Free Mondays’, mostly for the alliteration. I’m also thinking about implementing ‘There’s Something Fishy About Wednesdays’, but we’ll see how it goes. 

Last night I made Mushroom Burgers. It’s based on something I saw Jamie Oliver do years ago. It involves roasting large mushrooms with a garlic and herb butter spread on the underside. As the butter melts and soaks through the mushrooms into the pan all the flavour spreads through the mushroom. They’re awesome. I’d even go as far to say they’re better than a real burger.
